THE CHEESE HOUSE
Charming Grade II listed detached cottage, adjacent to the farmhouse, with its own private garden area, BBQ and seating. The Cheese House has undergone complete renovation retaining many old features, but has all the mod cons that you would expect, providing very comfortable 4 star Gold accommodation.  It has been tastefully decorated using traditional limewashes and has finishing touches by designers such as Cath Kidston, Emma Bridgewater & Busby.

On the ground floor is a modern shower room with WC and washbasin, good sized kitchen/diner which provides loads of work space and even has a log burner. On this level is also a bright double bedroom with views overlooking the fields.

Upstairs is the beautiful beamed lounge which has an open ceiling to the eaves [reduced ceiling height in places], and enjoys far reaching rural views. The spacious bedroom has the same stunning views and can be either a super king size bedroom or arranged as a twin bedroom, just let us know at the time of booking.

Included in the price: electricity, quality bed linens, plush towels [although guests are requested to bring their own beach towels], tea towels, and is centrally heated during winter months.

A small welcome box is provided to keep you going until you get to the shops, this includes: organic milk, butter, fresh local bread, free range eggs, tea and coffee.

SHORT BREAKS AVAILABLE FROM £300

The Cheese House is within easy reach of the dramatic Jurassic coastline. Swanage, with a beautiful sandy beach, is only 3.5 miles and Corfe Castle 2 miles, which makes it an ideal location to explore the Isle of Purbeck. Studland beach, Old Harry rock, Dancing ledge, Kimmeridge bay, Lulworth cove, Durdle door and Brownsea Island are all closeby.  Harman's Cross railway station is approximately a 10 minute walk where you can take a nostalgic steam train ride into Swanage or Corfe Castle. Sandbanks chain ferry is just a short drive away. From there you can discover Sandbanks, Poole, Boscombe, Bournemouth and beyond.
